Purse shaped card!

Hello!  I'm so happy that it's Saturday!  I love when the weekends are here and I have lots of time to play in my craft room.  :-)
I have really enjoyed being a guest designer over at Freshly Brewed Challenges this month.   Heather, the owner and designer of Fresh Brewed Designs has been so very sweet and personable.  I've really enjoyed getting to know her and her very talented and lovely Design Team.
This weeks challenge over at Freshly Brewed Challenges is a SHAPE CARD!  This will be my last card as a guest designer for the month of July there.  This means that I will be drawing a winner for my Blog Candy!
PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO WRITE A COMMENT UNDER MY Celebration BLOG CANDY SO THAT YOU WILL BE ENTERED INTO THE DRAWING TO WIN THE "BEACH BUMS" RUBBER STAMP!  There are only 7 people in the drawing out of 36 followers.  I want everybody to have a chance to win.
I had lot's of fun making this card!  I used my Fresh Brewed Designs, "Caution Contents are Hot" rubber stamp.  I LOVE THIS STAMP!!!  It's so very classy and versatil.  I colored her with copic markers and painted her white dress with Inspirations Fairy Dust shimmer paint from Fresh Brewed Designs. The lovely hounds tooth cardstock is from my DCWV "the Mademaiselle stack"  I simply folded a 11" X 5 1/2" piece of cardstock in half and trimmed both sides with a slight diagonal.  Then I added  some pink design paper to the top of my purse and some plain white cardstock that I trimmed with my SU scallop punch.
I  punched out a round scallop shape from my nestabilities for the flap of the purse.
I used my SU tag punch to punch out my typed sentiment "Celebrate In Style"
Finally, I added ribbon and bling.

And here is a picture with my sweet Beagle, SUZIE Q, checking my card out and sticking her nose into my picture!

Fresh Brewed Designs has their own special recipe for SWEET things and added a few new ingredients to their already darling Angel Cakes for this image release. Angel Cake loves summer and ice cream and hanging out with her new best friend Huckleberry Pie.
Along this hop you will see Angel, Huck, and some too sweet for words images that have been added to the Fresh Brewed Designs shop.

For my card I am featuring the image Huckleberry Pie!
Isn't he adorable?
I colored little Huckleberry Pie with my copic markers and paper pieced his little shirt.
The background designer paper is from DCWV "the Mademaiselle Stack"
The slice of pie is Martha Stewart
I printed out a recipe, added a big blue gingham bow and made a stick pin out of the pins and beads that my mother gave to me. Thank you, Mom!

My second card is Angel Cake Kite!

I had a lot of fun making little Angel Cake soar through the clouds as she hung onto to her kite! Who is coming up behind her at the end of the other kite? Her new friend, Huckleberry Pie, of course!
To make this card, I paper pieced little Angel Cake and her kite with Martha Stewart designer paper.
The decorative kite is Martha Stewart also.
The guazy ribbon is from Stampin Up.
I also used silver ribbon from my scraps, but you can't see it in the picture.
I tied a light and airy bow with wide pink sheer ribbon and added a stick pin that I made with beads that my mother gave me.
The cupcake is Jolee's Boutique
If you know a little girl, I guarantee you that she will love getting a sweet Angel Cake card!

Then I used my Marianne die to cut out the pretty Lacy doily circles that I used to frame the image on both the inside and the outside.
I used K&Company designer paper I paper pieced the pretty tea cup bathtub and the towel. Using this rubber stamp made it so fun and easy to do paper piecing!
Paper roses and corner embellishments from Wild Orchid Crafts
